Carols for the homeless

1 min read

Launchpad Reading – formerly Reading Single Homeless Project – has announced the date of its annual carol service.

It will take place in Reading Minister Church, St Mary’s Butts on Monday, December 19.

Although the charity has yet to reveal its plans for the event, previous years have seen famous names read some of the nine lessons, including Watchdog reporter Matt Allwright.

Colin Wallace, from Launchpad Reading, says: “The event is in the early planning stages but it promises to be bigger and better than ever.

“We have managed to keep the price down to £10 which represents excellent value for money so please do come and join us if you can.”

Tickets can be ordered online at www.rshp.co.uk.
