This year the Good Friday Passion Play in Wokingham Market Square at midday on Good Friday will be based on the story of The Three Trees.

Stage-Fright produces the Good Friday Passion Play on behalf of Churches Together in Wokingham. At the heart of Stage-Fright is the idea of using theatre to connect people in a community. This year, on 3 separate days in 3 separate churches, Stage-Fright is inviting local people to become involved in this year’s Passion Play.

Monday, 2nd April from 10-4pm at St Paul’s Rooms, St Paul’s Church, Wokingham – Workshop on the story of the First Tree
Tuesday, 3rd April from 10-4pm at Wokingham Baptist Church – Workshop on the story of the Second Tree
Wednesday, 4th April from 10-4pm at Rose Street Methodist Church, Wokingham – Workshop on the story of the Third Tree

Michael Johnson, Artistic Director at Stage-Fright encourages all to come along to one of the three workshop days. He said, “This is an opportunity to have fun helping us tell the story. it really doesn’t require people to think they can act, just to want to enjoy meeting up with others and telling a really good story.”
