A CHARITY that works overseas says it urgently needs volunteers over here.
CAFOD (the Catholic Agency for Overseas Development) works with partners in more than 40 countries across the world in an attempt to end poverty and injustice. It works with people of all faiths and none.
In the UK, its relies on volunteers to raise awareness of our work in parishes and schools and bring about a fairer world through prayer and action.
The charity says it is desperate for volunteers in the Reading area. It is particularly looking for parish contacts, volunteer speakers and campaigners. Training and support would be provided.
