A DAY for anyone interested in exploring ministry in the Church of England is being held at Dorchester Abbey next month.

The Bishop of Dorchester the Rt Revd Colin Fletcher and members of the Vocations team are hosting the day which will include presentations from Anglican nuns, clergy, lay ministers and a Church Army Evangelist.  Advisers will be on hand to answer any queries or to chat one-to-one. Everyone is welcome – no strings attached!

The Revd Jules Cave Bergquist, Director of Ordinands for the Diocese, said: β€œWe would particularly like to hear from people wishing to explore local ministry as well as young people aged 16 and over. We have a small group for people in the Diocese aged 16 to 22 who are exploring their sense of vocation and new members are very welcome.”

The day takes place on Saturday, November 3, from 10am.

Please bring a packed lunch; drinks and snacks will be provided. No one will be turned away, but it would be helpful to have some idea of numbers; if you can, please let us know in advance that you are coming: confirmations to Sue Foley or on 01865 208291. There will be no charge for the day.
