SONGS of Praise presenter Pam Rhodes will hand out the prizes at the Christian Book Awards ceremony in May – if you vote, you can be there, too.

ORGANISERS of the biennial Speaking Volumes Christian Book Awards want your help to choose the winners. Public voting is now open, and everyone who votes receives a free ticket to the International Christian Resources Exhibition at Sandown Park on May 13, where the winners will be annouced and the awards presented by Songs of Praise’s Pam Rhodes.

The winning authors receive a £1,000 cash prize – a welcome contribution to living costs while they work on their next book.

The awards are given to recognise the Christian books that are most accessible to a wide readership and would best help readers have a better understanding of Christianity. There are shortlists of five books each for both adults’ and children’s categories.

This year’s shortlisted titles are:BOOK AWARDS LOGO 2014-1-page-001
