Go for a ramble with SPORADIC in Caversham

1 min read

If you’ve overindulged over Christmas – let’s face it, who hasn’t – then this event may be just up your street. Well, country path.

Members of St Peter’s Church in Caversham are planning to start the New Year as they mean to go – they are rambling. No, it’s not the vicar’s sermon but a walk in the fresh air this afternoon.

The church members are setting off from St Peter’s at 2pm on Sunday, January 8, for a winter ramble around fields and woodland to reach The Packhorse pub where seasonal refreshments will be provided.

The group is called St Peter’s Occasional Rambles And Dawdles In the Countryside, which is a genius acronym – SPORADIC!
