The Hexagon theatre will once again be the venue for a very special Christmas carol concert.
Organised by the Salvation Army, the concert will take place at 3pm and 7.30pm at the Reading venue on Saturday, December 3.
The event will be compered by Anne Diamond, who presents a daily show on BBC Radio Berkshire and is famous for her presenting duties with TV-am.
As well as the Reading Central band, there will be a special performance from American artists Barbara and Steve Allen.
Alongside the carols and choirs, there will be a special presentation featuring young children retelling the Nativity.
Organisers are promising an event that will highlight what Christmas is all about.
Tickets cost £13 and can be bought from the Reading Arts box office on (0118) 960 6060 or by logging on www.readingarts.com. They can also be ordered from www.carolconcert.org.uk.
