Reason roadworks cannot be lifted for bank holiday: Major widening works ongoing including earthworks, utilities diversions and drainage work.

There will be narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit in place – 10 miles of roadworks – Moderate delays expected. Reason roadworks cannot be lifted for bank holiday: Incomplete safety fencing and technology work.

There will be narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit in place – 3 miles of roadworks – Nil to slight delays expected.

Reason roadworks cannot be lifted for bank holiday: Traffic management required for safety reasons as the central reserve bridge pier will still be jacked-up and will therefore need the support structures and barriers to remain in place for the safety of both the structure and the travelling public.
