Wokingham’s Town Hall will open its doors next month Phil Creighton
If you’ve ever wanted to walk the corridors of power then an open day coming up will be just the ticket. Wokingham’s Town Hall will be hosting the child-friendly day on Thursday, February 19.
Visitors can explore the inside of the Town Hall while learning about its history and finding out how the rooms are used today.
There will be explanatory leaflets available as well as resources and activities for children to do, tying in with local history requirements for primary school curriculums.
Entry is free and the event runs in the Town Hall in Market Place from 11am to 4pm on Thursday, February 19.
There will be an additional Open Day on Thursday, May 28, during half-term.
