Family Fun day to return to Prospect Park

Planning is well under way for the second annual Reading Family Fun Day taking place this summer.

After the success of the event in its very first year in 2013, where over £1,000 was raised for the British Heart Foundation (BHF), the event is set to take place again at

Prospect Park on Sunday 27th July 2014 from 11am to 5pm.

Last year the fun day attracted up to 2,000 visitors and the organiser of the fun day, Amy White, hopes that even more people will come along and will support the event in its second year. Once again the event promises lots of family fun activities and plenty of stalls to browse. With the support and donations from many local businesses there will be attractions courtesy of Simply The Best Events, BBQ, Ferret Racing, Face Painting, Quirks’ Animal Roadshow, a raffle and much more!

Amy White, Event Organiser, said “Last year’s event was a massive success and we were delighted with the amount we managed to raise. We were very lucky, the weather could not

have been better! This year I really hope that we will get an event bigger attendance and we can raise a whole lot more for this fantastic charity”

BHF’s lifesaving work can only continue thanks to vital donations. The charity urgently needs the support of more people like you and there are lots of ways to get involved.
