Paul McCabe, coach at Crossfit Training, Reading Vivienne Johnson
If you are looking for somewhere to get fit and healthy without all the piped music and intimidating yellow lycra, Reebok CrossFit Reading may be just the place for you.
Situated in Hodsoll Road, near Great Knollys Street, the gym is close to the town centre, with plenty of on-site parking.
CrossFit Training came from America and the Reading gym was one of the first to open in this country.
‘We’re a real family friendly place,’ said Paul McCabe, coach and owner of the gym. ‘We are suitable for anyone; all ages from three years in our CrossFit Kids sessions, to your 98 year old granny.
Anyone can come along and get benefit from the CrossFit method of training.’
Reebok CrossFit Reading has qualified trainers who will customise an exercise plan to suit you and your physical condition. ‘There’s always someone on hand to help you out and give advice,’ said Paul ‘and sessions are limited in number so you always get attention from a coach.’
If you would like to look around the gym and see what goes on, Paul and his colleagues are running a free taster session on Wednesday August 6 at 8pm. ‘There will be an introduction to training, a session on gym techniques and a fun team work out.’ he said.
