The Bishop of Reading, the Rt Revd Andrew Proud, this morning led a service of blessing for the newly installed church roof at St Michael’s Tilehurst.
The church roof, which was identified as needing substantial restoration work at the commencement of Rector John Rogers’ incumbency at St Michael’s six years ago, is now a stunning tone of terracotta and russet, thanks to the immaculate work carried out by Swindon-based company, JG Restoration.
