Charlie and Lola will take part in Wokingham Libraries’ half-term fun Tiger Aspect/Lauren Child
Charlie and Lola, Minecraft, Captain Underpants and poetry and craft sessions form the backdrop of a half-term of fun at Wokingham Borough Libraries later this month.
All of the Borough Council’s libraries will be hosting a special Family Arts Festival – Big Draw space, where children can use their artistic talents to draw something amazing.
For added inspiration Big Draw illustrator and author of Spooky, Spooky, Spooky Cathy MacLennan will be visiting.
Cathy will be coming to Wokingham, Woodley and Winnersh Library to read her book. There will also be drawing sessions with resident artist Laura De Moxom.

Monday, October 27
- It’s Our World story and drawing session at Maiden Erlegh Library from 3.45pm to 4.45pm and at Twyford Library from 2pm to 3pm. Free, just drop in.
- It’s our World drawing session with resident artist Laura De Moxom at Wokingham Library from 10am to 11am. Free, just drop in!
Tuesday, October 28
- It’s our World drawing session with our resident artist Laura De Moxom at Woodley Library from 10am to 11.30am. Free, just drop in!
- Poetry fun with Clare Bevan for children aged 6 to 11 years old at Wokingham Library from 11.15am to 12.15pm and at Lower Earley Library from 2.15pm to 3.15pm. Places must be booked, £3 charge.

- Create your own funky bracelet for children aged 6 and over at Wokingham Library from 10am to 11.30am and at Finchampstead Library from 2.15pm to 3.15pm. Just drop in, £1.50 charge per item.
- Captain Underpants learning session for children aged 8 to 11 years old at Lower Earley Library from 11am to 12noon. Free
- Charlie and Lola Learning session for children aged 6 to 9 years old at Lower Earley Library from 9.45am to 10.45am. Free
- Minecraft activity session for children aged 5 to 11 years old at Wokingham Library from 2pm to 2.45pm and 3pm to 3.45pm. Places must be booked, £2 charge.
