A leading bus industry magazine, routeONE, has shortlisted the company for four categories of their Excellence Awards. They are Operator Training, Large Bus Operator of the Year, Innovation of the Year and Partnership of the Year awards.
The latest shortlisting follows last year’s success at the same magazine’s awards when Reading Buses won four awards – the most by a company at the ceremony since its launch in 2005.
James Freeman, Chief Executive Officer of Reading Buses:, said “We are really delighted to have been shortlisted in so many categories once again this year.
“After our successes last year in the routeONE Operator Excellence Awards we were wondering whether that might perhaps count against us this time round.
“However, we look forward to being judged again this year against ever-stiffening competition from many excellent operators,” he added.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole Hotel on November 5.
