Feel-good musical coming to Henley

The Wedding Singer is the ultimate feel good night out packed with infectious songs, stunning dance routines and crazy 1980’s fashion – and it’s coming to the Kenton Theatre in Henley next month.

Reading Operatic Society presents a new production of the hit Broadway show, based on the 1998 film.

It is 1985, and rock star wannabe Robbie Hart is everyone’s favourite wedding singer. He is the life and soul of a party… until he gets jilted at the altar. Shot through the heart, Robbie makes every wedding as disastrous as his own, until he meets Julia. Unfortunately she is about to get married to Glen, a Wall Street shark, and unless Robbie can pull off the performance of a decade, the girl of his dreams could be lost forever. This high energy, hilarious musical should have you laughing and dancing in the aisles.

The Wedding Singer runs at The Kenton Theatre, Henley-on-Thames from April 2 to April 5. Tickets are £15 from www.kentontheatre.co.uk or call the boxoffice on 01491 575698.
