Prospects is seeking to appoint a Church Partnerships Development Officer to support the Fundraising Manager in nurturing and building relationships with new churches and engaging their memberships in the work and mission of Prospects throughout the United Kingdom.
We are seeking to engage churches and their memberships in our mission through captivating real-life stories of achievements of people with learning disabilities, their families and supporters whose lives have been transformed.
With a background in communications, journalism or creative writing, you will be a self-starter, a strong communicator with excellent writing and interpersonal skills. You will be computer literate and understand the fundamentals of editorial design and publishing of newsletters via electronic and social media. You will feel comfortable in engaging with church leaders of all denominations and church missions committees and prayer and fellowship groups.
Prospects is a Christian charity working in partnership with over 200 churches transforming the lives of people with learning disabilities; and directly providing support to meet the needs of those people with a learning disability who choose to live in a Christian environment. Prospects is uniquely placed to engage with over one thousand churches in the next few years through partnerships with denominational networks and partner organizations.
